यह एक साही- साप् । Manas India has been publishing Hindi Sahitya Ka Itihas from 1938. The publication is a quarterly journal published by Manas Publications Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, India and carries articles and reviews on all areas of Hindi literature. Apart from the regular issue, special features like books, news and current events related to Hindi literature (both nationally as well as internationally) are regularly included. The journal is published in Gujarati language with an English abstract of each article/review included at the back of the issue. Manas India Foundation (मनास इंडिया फॉर्मुके) was established by Suhasini Mulgaonkar along with the help of friends, Hemant Divate and Devendra Mulgaonkar. The nonprofit organization was registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act of 1950 on 19 February 1999. The purpose of the foundation is Azadi (freedom) from caste based, gender based and communal division in Indian society. The mission of the foundation is to promote Hindi literature in India and abroad, to develop libraries in rural areas, promote library science through scholarships etc. The board of trustees consists of many eminent personalities like Zubin Mehta (President, New York Philharmonic), Shekhar Pathak (Chairman & CEO of India Post Payments Bank), Suhasini Mulgaonkar (Founder Trustee & Board Member), Devendra Mulgaonkar (Trustee & CEO, Manas Publications Pvt Ltd.), Hemant Divate (Trustee), Anand Sahay (Trustee) etc. Dr. Nagendra is a retired professor of history and culture from Gorakhpur University, in Uttar Pradesh, in Main Bihari dialect. He has written a number of novels in Hindi in the form of "Rangbhoomi" ("Village Deeds"), "Hajre Yoprahagar" ("Courting the Bride") and others. He has also authored several books on history and culture of different regions in central India. In addition to his contributions to Hindi literature he has also contributed to the study of Indian culture. He has delivered many lectures on the subject. In 2009, he received a government award for his contribution to Hindi literature. In an interview with "Agarbhadra" magazine in 2000, he stated that all of his 60 books had been published by Manas Publications Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai and the sales of all the books was over a million copies. This earned him a government award of ₹50 lakhs. Dr. Nagendra is married to Dr. Jyoti Nagendra and they have three children, one son and two daughters As per 2008 Indian census, Nagendra live in Mohanbeli village, dedicated to him by Mulgaonkar family after his death at 85 years old . cfa1e77820
